Wife hit a wombat in her VT wagon tonight, smashed the washer bottle, and damaged the front bar..... Doesn't appear to be any other damage, although a daylight inspection will be needed...

Anyone have a VT front bar that's sitting around gathering dust.....

When I was driving coal trucks one of the company CH Macks virtually wrote off an alloy steer wheel and damaged the bumper from hitting a wombat. They are as hard as boulders when you hit them at speed. I hope you don`t find too much more damage and the main thing is that your better half is all right :)

I've gotta agree with this, you are VERY lucky. They are tough little suckers, I ran over one in a KW once and nearly lost it!! Admittedly I was going flat out, and had a very light load of freight that the senders thought was going by a winged device but jeez, I just bounced over it with all axles. The guy behind me said I didn't even slow it down, it rolled over when it spat out the back and it just kept running for the side of the road

Lucky you only sustained small damage.
One guy I know had his Pajero ridden off as his daughter swerved to avoid a possum and rolled it then hit a tree
People inside were ok.

How's the wombat, :bash: no idea

SteveSV8, thanks for the offer, but a touch to far, and probably to much to freight.

VT2VX, your offer is the best so far, only cost me approx $100 in fuel, so definately doable...
I'm going to check out the local smash repairers, they may have one, if not then looks like "road trip"
