Have driven a new VZ Exec Wagon with 2100kg towpack. (dads new company car)

I am impressed, is unlike the old rubbish. The engine is more merc v6 than holden. Sounds like a magna abit lol too!!

But over all is a 400pc improvement over the VY and VX.

the 4spd auto works much better, and kicks down when its told too

seats are nicer, lumbar support on front passenger side.

Fit and Finnish has not changed plastic trim is still average.

have driven both BA and VZ i would pick the VZ just seems nicer.

Steering is spot on, I would love to own an SV6 would be better again.

Elec throttle is different to BA has more travel and is not like an on/off switch very precise with movement and when the cruise is activated.

The info on the dash panel is pretty cool.

can adjust things like interior light delay/ headlight delay

horn and blinkers on when the alarm is activated on/off

Front power windows.

Being a wagon has abit of road noise but too be expected.

overall its a good package. 9 out of 10 :-P good work holden

please comment.

saw quite a few truckloads of VZ's today going through cranbourne...but only about 6 inches thick- they must have been final or current testing units from lang lang that were crushed after use...there must of been 20 or so on each truck

Ill be testing the new Alloytec 190 sometime soon, going by the rear ratio of 2.89 and a very short 1st and 2nd gear, would not surprise me if it kept up or headed off a stock LS1 up to 80.
