I have a VXIIHSVR8 and i need all five rims repaired. done one in at macca,s drive through(expensive big mac). the others were done on purchase. i am after someone in the brisbane area who does this? also the cost and turnaround time.

Depulu Wheel Reconditioners do a good job http://www.depuluwheels.com/ although there on the Gold Coast, they can arrange pick up and delivery if you need it..

As a matter of interest, what sort of ball park $$$ does a rim repair cost for standard gutter scrub damage to alloys...(um...wife at fault..of course.)

called these guys and was quoted $115 + gst + courier for each rim. plus an additional $10 per wheel for removing a tyre from the rim etc.

hope that helps i will be waiting till after xmas to send mine in.(got children to buy for first. expensive little critters but who,d be without them )

That is not a bad price when you consider all that is involved in reconditioning a damaged rim. As far as the kids are concerned I still reckon the best part about having kids is when you wave goodbye to them the day they leave the nest :lol:
