What were the thinking when they designed the front bumper for the VZ Senator. It would have got to be one of the worst looking Holden's i have ever seen. They obviously spent most of their time designing the new disgusting engine covers.:stick:
If they were going to use a current bumper from another model they should have used the grange bumper with a modified grill section.

I dont really like it either but IMO its still better than VX Senator/SV300 front or VY Senator front.... not to mention the other VY HSV front.... or the rear.... or the XUV :spew: Any of those need to be black or another dark colour to hide the ugliness. :bash:

Overall VZ HSV is a definite improvement over VY.

The new engine covers look trick IMO. They sure shit on the old turtle shell.

I love the new VZ Senator, I would love to own one. The front bar gives it a more subtle look compared the the agressive look on other models.

My wife is asking who sings/bands name of the song in the video of the Z Senator on HSV's website?

This is why opinions are great, we don't all have to have the same one!
I reckon the new Senator is one of the best looking cars I've seen.
I've already been smacked by the wife for asking for one!

Dont get me wrong people, HSV have produced some great cars and the VY was amazing.

But the VZ Senator...is the ugliest pice of plastic sh@t i've laid eyes on. For f#cks sake...these guys have a whole two years to design a nice looking bumper and then they stuff it up. That grill is so cheap its not funny. The chrome highlights are totally misplaced and the car overall looks atrocious. Are new guys in charge of design...because if so the only saving grace for this car are Mike Simcoe's graceful lines. Feel sorry fpr the guy who has to sell this dog in a couple of years time when the styling is out of date...did I hear someone say AU falcon? The VT and VY Senator fronts were horn...VX and VZ are frighteningly ugly. The quicker they rust the better. Forget the stolen generation, John Howard on behalf of HSV should apologise for this horrible example of thoughtless and uninspired automotive design that generations of Australian will now have to look at every time they use our nations roads.

lets just see if hsv can break even more sales records with the Z Series, the VZ senator looks much better than the VY, looks more european and elegant (which it is supposed to be) and is in a class compared to BMW's Mercedes and Audis, if u dont like it dont buy one, dnot just comlpain about how much u dont like it.

I dont see anyone complaining about a shitbox suzuki or proton, because no one would buy one.

I don't have much of a gripe with HSV on the Senator model I like it looks very classy.

I like the Clubby R8 and Maloo the best of the range. I wouldn't say no to the 6.0L beasts.

Makes FPV range look very dismal.

And as others say if you don't like it don't buy it simple.

I reckon the basic problem is that Holden have done such a good job with the basic car and S-pack/SS body kits that HSV have to try really hard to differentiate them, sometimes to excess ie: the VY Clubsport.

I dont mind the Senator (it beefs up the stock look without overdoing it IMHO) but I agree the chrome is a bit blah, but looks OK from a distance (no, not 100km  )

plastic sh@t doesn't rust Einstein, it is around forever to make you whince every time you see one. I on the other hand would shell out for VZ senator in a nanosecond and send it straight out to a sponsor for a tickle

I think the Coupe4 is the ugliest of last years HSVs. In photos it looks alright, but I saw it up close on the CityLink a few months ago, and the glued on wheel arch flares are the most horrid things I've ever laid eyes on. The rear body kit looked too plasticy and the whole look of it was tacky and fake. Worst HSV ever.
