I hope he reads this, he will probably piss himself laughing. At Sandown in the Toby Lee Series in...mmm..shit it was a long time ago, ...78 maybe?..he arrived at Sandown in the Mustang, it pissed down. At the end of the first lap he was going through the end of the main straight and the rest, at the time, the BEST, were coming through onto the straight. This guy has webbed feet when it rains, ask Brock. A nicer man you will never meet, a better driver may exist, Bond, but then I am biased, If I can drive 75% of how good he is at 58 I will die a happy man. If you EVER get the chance to talk to him anywhere, say hello. He will stop and talk and say hello back. Thats why in the paddock all these years we have called him, Gentleman Jim, totally deserved.

P.S. I am sure he had more than a little bit to do with the stuffed kangaroo at Surfers with the bandages and the t- shirt that said "I got smashed at Bathurst"

talked to him at the last bathurst launch day 2000 ? he is a top bloke some one needs to get him on OUR site to give a talk it would be very good.

Fatas, I am supposed to be retired from that racing stuff!..I will ring Larry and try and get his number to talk to him. Pity Hansford wasnt here, he owes me a million favours from the bike days(which I AM going to collect!)so that wouldn't have been a problem.
