Noisy Fuel Pump VZ SS Ute

I have had my new VZ SS Auto Ute for one week
A great ride past ute VUII SS Auto 2001
But have noticed a sound coming from the fuel pump when engine on & off
Its sounds like the pump is starving for fuel or bearing whine (the tank is full!!)

Has anyone had similiar problems
Its going into Dealer this week hopfully a quick fix !!!!!

I saw an HSV VZ in the workshop the other day with exactly the same problem. Sounds like a line of faulty fuel pumps on the VZ.

Hello Cosie, I Had The Same Problem After Having My Vz Ss Ute For 700kms. The Whine On Mine Was Worse When Fuel Was Warm. I Told The Dealer The Problem And He Agreed To Change. I Took The Fuel Tank Cover Off Myself As Most Dealers Are Hacks. They Recalibrated After Fitting But Gauge Is A Bit Out. Will Mention This At 3000km Service Along With Diff Whine. Should Have Kept The Trusty Vy Ss Ute. Good Luck. Sounds As If They Have A Problem With These Pumps, Will They Ever Get It Right.

Hello All
Intersted to hear about the problems you are having, I hope all is resolved easly. I bit the bullet today as well and ordered one of these but went for the M6. I thinking now I may have been a little hasty. I reckon the car will be built on brake up day :xmas:
