skaife n ingall touch,skaife was desperate was never going to slow up,went offline,ingall was already there,had a touch skaife hits sand,(even though he was going that way the touch confirmed it) 70/30 skaifes fault,he did touch ingall up a few times to get the move,lowndes and murphy,clearly murphy left the gap FPR had the spot rubbing of the guards,murphy puts foot on pedal and half spins..


other then that twas a good race to watch


bring on the rain and bring on race 2 and 3

was a good race thats for sure...partially clean and some incidents. Skaife was carrying too much speed up the side of ingall but if ingall didnt punt him he mightnt have beached it and could have saved to to get at least a semi decent position for race 2........been a while since he has been back of the grid anyway.

yeah i reckon skaife had a 50/50 chance of pulling up before thesand but without seeing it happen we may never know,at best he may of got stuck in the grass too,but yeah was a fairly clean race,ingall though was already out there in the dirty stuff skaife comes across all crossed up and yeah who knows the "what if's" etc like it could of cut both ways,fact is skaife was going in too hot,i reckon even if he sat on the b pillar and braked with ingall he wouild of got the spot,but yeah race 2 bring it on..

dunno about anyone else,but im becoming more and more disappointed each race meeting.thinking to myself,yeah skaifes got a good shot at this one,come practice top 5 usually then qualifying puts the thing on pole,come race time gets very average starts,the best start he had this year was indy i belive.then mid race he has a brain melt and spins the thing for example adelaide race 2,eastern creek enduro in the wet,and theres so many more,i just hope he is having one of "those" seasons. go get then in race 2 mark!

maybe he has had such a bad season he is overdriving a little ???
this season for HRT is shot ,let skaife engage brain instead of listening to the red mist !!!

gotta give him credit though he's a driver,and owner and these guys are under alot more pressure to win cause they are meant to be the No1 holden team out there,i dont think its the team really getting worst i think the others have stepped up to their level..

with all of whats happened skaife will have a rethink of what was and the what if's of this year and come back next year with a vengeance for sure... :box: bring on 05 :box:

with a DNF in last race by some of the top guys including sbr No1 car its murphy with it all to lose n gain come to last race of the yr...

hmm, and which top 3 was that, as the timing still had Baird, Bright and Skaife in the top 3......

And before anyone says its impossible, if they pitted as the sc signs went out and the field slows as they are meant to under the sc, it is possible that they got out in front......After the race, skaife stated they did 1 more lap than the rest of the field, so it will be interesting to see what happens....

you'd be pretty brave to bet against Ambrose completely losing it from here on end, but it shoudl be interesting to see the charge to 2nd place, its the 3rd year in a row now isnt it Murphy looks set to take runner up?
