Warnambool members

Hi,

Are there many members who live in the Warnambool area?
I will be spending a few days there from monday to wednesday, so if you see a black SV8 with a G&D peformance sticker on the back say hi.
Would be cool to catch up with anyone from the forums for a chat.
P.S how bad are the wallopers this time of year? any hot-spots for speed cameras?

gday mate,

i used to live in warrnambool, but just moved down here to melb...but i can help with the revenue raising hotspots!

between geelong and warrnambool there are a few spots where they sit quite often:

- colac: as you come into town you come down a hill around a blind corner and the speed limit goes from 80 to 60...they sit on the right hand side at the bottom, or in the shell servo opposite

- camperdown: coming into town you go down a hill (what is it with them and sitting at the bottom of hills!), at the bottom of the hill there is a road off to the left with an old servo on the corner, they often sit just in that road there

- terang: often speed cameras sitting on the long stretch coming into town

- terang 2: on the way out of town, dont speed up to 80 until you pass the sign. Its very tempting just there to speed up when you see the sign, but they often sit in the trees on the left just before the sign.

- mobile: there are always TOG cars travelling up and down between geelong and warrny so take it easy!
