Anyone know what the top speed of a stock LS1 in a VX R8 is ??

Motor did some tests about a year ago at Avalon and got something like 260-265km/h out of a SS/Clubby type cars (measured via radar). The fastest GMH based car was the Monaro which pulled over 270km/h :surprised: due mainly to it's slightly more slippery shape.

I think the new HSV's are a little quicker than that, just remember reading about motor driving one around Lang Lang!!

From motor testing, SV8 pulled 260, SS pulled 250, GTS pulled 280 (3.9's and 300Kw :cool: )
