Just sold my VX R8 and updated. Great vehicle, I loved it, K&N Filter dual hole CAI GTS MAF and edit. It was great. Any critism is watching the tyres, especially the rear, I didn't think they made the alteration until the VX Series 11 for wearing the inside of the rear tyres. Rotate them every 5000 km and you should be OK. Good Buy.

james2 , I agree with dark, watch the tyre wear and rotate as he suggests. Also keep an eye on tyre pressures, at least 36psi all round. I had a few dramas with mine in the first 10,000km, namely oil pump and leather seat wear and then again just recently when the front brakes developed a shudder when braking hard on a steep down hill run with sharp corners. All fixed under warrenty.Evidently the brake problem was a known fault, but only with some of the VX's, new front discs and pads all round and no shudder since.Always started well, never used any oil and was a pleasure to drive, especially on good roads in outback Qld and NSW on trips to SA :D You will love it up your way with unrestricted speed limits :D Like dark I have just sold mine, privately, and am looking forward to friday when I take delivery of the new beast, a phantom VZ R8 manual. Might have to come for a run up your way to let it stretch it's legs a little :D I have heard that you can get a camber kit to correct the rear tyre wear. Happy driving.
