Found what I thought was the protective wax they put on the paintwork for transporting in a few spots on my car. No dramas they just missed a few spots. Took her in for the first service today and asked if they could remove it as I didnt want to do it and inadvertantly damage the paint work in the process. Some of it was just the wax which they removed. Other spots turned out to be bad paint or a bad paint job. The rear bumber on close inspection under good lights appears to have folds in the paint but under the clear coat. Feels smooth to touch but looks awful. Oh well they are going to put it through some ultra violet light tunnel so they can see any other imperfections and then fix it under warranty. Had some bonnet and headlight protectors put on while it was in and asked if they would do them at no charge for the inconvenience but best they would do was cost price.
Was so excited when i took delivery i must have looked past it. (plus it was undercover in poor light)

Best place for a dealer to deliver the car - from their perspective anyway

Havent got the car at the moment will check it tomorrow. Had a friend of mine who is a panel beater have a look at it. He thinks that the car has been scratched in transit and it is just a crappy repair job. Spoke to Holden about this and they are prepared to let my friend do the respray of the rear bumper.
