Afternoon boys.
Ive just come back from a drive and the radiator fan wont cut out( been home for a couple of hours now, & motor is cool to touch ).
Its already drained the battery & Ive tried pulling fuses, but still no
good. Its the third time in the last week.
Had a re-edit done 3 weeks ago, could this have anything to do
with the prob ? never had the problem prior.
Any feedback greatly appreciated.

I had this problem with my VT2. The relay kept sticking. If it happens open he bonnet and tap the top of the fan relay and it generally stops it. If it is under warranty just get holden to replace it. If not buy yourself a new relay.
It was a common fault with the VT2 I havent heard it on later models.

You have now :) Ever since we picked the VY up from the 20k service, we have to remember to listen that the fan goes off. New relay will fix (apparently). Pain in the neck when you are in a noisy place and don't hear that the fan is on and sends the battery flat. :( only once - been very careful since

How exactly does the fan run if you have pulled the fuses out?
