Lo,
I am after some recommendations on car bras. I live in Central Queensland so the road conditions can be terrible. I travel home to brisbane quiet regualary (1100kms) so i need something to try and slow down the destruction of my front bar.
I have been looking at the one offered by carbra.com.au, but wondered if the side mirror protectors, and full bonnet protectors are worthwhile ? Or just the standard frontbar / 1/4 bonnet is fine.

Any input would be appreciated.

Mate work in Moranbah and travel to Mackay every 4 days so I know the roads are pretty crappy. The bra like you have in the photo will be sufficient. I have one of those for my Maloo and works really well.
About $350 from memory. Worth every penny. Just don't use it in the rain. I have used mine in the rain and was lucky enough not to get damage. If it has dust inside the water can make it rub into the paint.
Good Luck.

I bought one from Car Bra Australia and as Hubble says, it's
worth the coin. Very good quality and fits like a glove.
I very rarely venture out without mine now the front has
been painted.

I went to a car show last weekend and there was a company there that had a product that was a clear film that was moulded to the shape of the front bar, bonnet, and gaurds, it was clear and it was almost impossible to pick where it ended on the bonnet, after a couple of us looking for quite a few minutes we picked a very fine line about a third of the way up the bonnet where the film ended. Not sure how effective it would be or cost etc.
And I can't recall the name of the company, I guess it would be a permanent fit as well. Not sure if it would be a good idea or not, but another option.
