View Full Version : Any Afr Head Tests In Aust.

Has anyone done any dyno testing on LS1 AFR cylinder heads IN AUSTRALIA. Reports from US are easy to get but there doesn't to be anything done in OZ. There was some reports that Sams was doing something in the testing line but I haven't seen any more.

Your right there, Sam's Performance did AFR head testing on engine dyno but the results have never been posted or printed anywhere.

I don't know if these tests where for an australian distributor or something T-d up with AFR, but it might be confidential as we havent seen anything on here yet as far as the end results.

I cant give you back to back testing compared to ported heads on the same engine, but i will have dyno results from a 346 with the 205cc heads within a day or two. They flowed pretty well on the bench.

Testing has been done and is finished.Should have all the info soon as Sam is flat out towards Xmas.Cheers Criso.
P.S I can say one thing there is not much difference between AFR heads and Sams heads.My opinion is the cost of the AFR heads are stupid when you compare the results between both heads.Down low Sams are better and from memory up high AFR heads are on top by about 15 horsepower.PlanB will have the all out results soon .All tested on same engine same day.
