VTs have a bigger centre hole size in thier rims to VB-VS. Does anybody know what the two dimensions are?

Dunno how true it is, but I think I once read on the internet (maybe even here..) that VB to VS were 70mm and VT/VX were 71.5mm.

That is about the difference. Obviously a VT onwards rim will fit on a pre VT1 car but the balancing/centering via the centre boss will not be assured.
A pre VT1 rim will not directly fit a VT1 onward car without butchering unless it is properly machined.

Would be a good thing if you did motomk!!!
I thought the VT1 onwards was 71.5mm and earlier ones were 70mm. However, when I saw IIV8II's BUMP just now I went out and measured the centre boss hole in my set of spare VT1 Senator rims and they are ---
wait for it ----
69.5 mm. Oh my God!!!! What myths are we promoting here????
They were a bugger to measure as my vernier calipers [slide rule style] are too long for a direct measurement so I had to use a set of [non reading] internal calipers and then use the vernier calipers to measure across the tips of the internal calipers. Did it several times and got the same results though.
Would be very interested in what your results are.

lol... thanks Bob G.. that 0.5mm could be the difference beteeen the wheels fitting and NOT fitting!
PS: I need to know for a big brake conversion I am doing on a non-Holden using Ford/Holden bits and Holden steelie cop wheels.
I'd measure my own but my verniers are f**ked and I'm not sure if my rims are VL-VS or VT-VY
