Hi, you have looked into this before i believe.

another thread on this the new Vet, but not sure you read everything on here.

the new corrvette c6r, look at bringing in limited number for the sport car nuts?

the gto sells quite cheaply in the states compared to here with factory discounts etc. (not that they think so over there) anyway with the rumours that production of the gto is to go elsewhere for that market. perhaps you can get some deal on the new corvette, with a large discount from them to keep the landed cost down here. bring some in here, its one mean looking car.

Ah the C6 Corvette - 6.0L, 400hp, 0-60 in 4.2 sec, a natural competitor for the 911s of this world. Unfortunately, it doesn't come in right-hand-drive and there are no plans for RHD in the future program. Never say never, and the car certainly warrants all the attention, but there's nothing to talk about right now.

As good as it is, that 4.2 seconds would be a rolling start would it not???

Why would it be a rolling start? The thing weighs like 300kg less than our cars.

Ahh Motor Magazine just cracked a 4.99 in an auto HSV LS2 so a lighter more aerodynamic Corvette would be able to do a low 4 especially with the wide rubber they run on the rear tyres.

I hope future sports Holden models come out with wider rubber on the rear as I find the 235 x 40 x 18 RE040 Bridestones are a good tyre but can't handle full throttle to well.
