For Sale: CAPA 470x330x130mm thick Air-to-Air Intercooler. - $800

I recently purchased this intercooler for my project but have decided to go a different route for cooling. The cooler is less than 6 months old and has been in use for only 3 months and is in perfect condition. Supplied with this cooler is mounting hardware ONLY and does not include the front bumper or any pipework.

Genuine Inquiries only e-mail side@ls1.com.au

is it tube and fin or bar and plate. what size inlets outlets, is it a back to bar core or one 130mm core. are those measurements the core size or including tanks. very interested! can u email me a pic and exact measurements as i was just about to order one from pwr in the next week or 2.

Sorry don't have a pic of it but it is tube and fin. The measurements are the core only. It has black powercoated aly end tanks with 75mm inlet and outlet pipes on each end which are designed to line up with the bumper support. This is CAPA's BIG cooler option for their vortech intercooler kit.

Bolt in, plumb up and that's all you need to do.

The pipes (inlet and outlet) are centered vertically and are toward the front of the cooler tanks not in the middle.

So loking at it fron the front the pipes are centered, looking at if from the top the pipes are towards the front but still entering from the sides.

Make sense?? :)

I'll get something over the weekend as I will have the front bar off then .. I'll then post them up, will just be from a camera phone but will be good enough to see the details.

i just spoke to capa about this cooler and he reckons its limit is about 750-800hp so its going to be a big small for what i need. i need something closer to 500-400-150 to reach the 1000hp we are chasing. sorry to take up your time. good luck with the sale

Well dunno about that, I think this is the same cooler the Crewman is running and it's made 1000rwhp or damn close to it..

it made those numbers with funny fuel. only made 650 odd with pump fuel.

Right, but would that not suggest that the cooler is sufficient regardless of the fuel ???

i know that. i was going of what capa and a.r.e told me in reguards to there computer program that tells u what size cooler u need and i was suggested no smaller than 500-400-150. i orginal wanted a 500-330-130 but was told not even close to the size i need.
