The other day on the discovery channel i was watching a program on the making of the c6 corvette, very interesting and well put together program. It had a behind the scenes look on just how the c6 corvette was designed and engineered and had many interviews with designers and engineers where they explaned why they did things and how they did them. It also showed the problems they encountered with certain elements such as design, and i loved the development work stages that they did on the nurburgring and the german autobahns. I was wondering if Holden could do the same thing with VE? I for one think it would be a fantastic idea that the public can see how the next generation of the commodore has been designed and made especially considering the signifigance of VE. Would holden consider doing this?

We film development material of all our major cars and VE is no exception. It's a matter of recording history, really. The issue of whether it grows into a documentary of the C6-style you described is out of our hands ... it becomes a commercial decision for the networks. Not a cheap exercise!

Just pass me all the film taken so far and I'll prepare a demo documentary for you to show them ;) I promise I wont hold you to ransom under threat of releasing the footage to the public before the VE is released... no really, TRUST ME!

Kidding of course. ;)

i remember getting a copy of a book "Project VN" which i still have here on my bookshelf in my office. It was/is a great insight into the development process by Pedr and Tony Davis.

Would be great to see something like that for the VT and the VE...
