Has anyone been to the old Holden dealer in Peak Hill, which is about an hour south of Dubbo NSW?
Man this place is interesting, heaps of old Holden’s such as an EJ special black with a red interior in show room condition.
Not to mention the red VN or VP Aero in the show room that looks a treat.
Then in another section of the dealership is HR panel vans; old chevs the list goes on, there must be at least twenty cars in the show rooms. All with about three inches of dust.
At least these old girls are not in the weather like the FX Ute out the back.
I also came across a dealer in Holbrook NSW that had a VL walkie with 300ks on the clock some years ago and were asking 40k for the thing. It had never had a number plate on it.
The story goes it only got driven twice a year to change the oil and to blow out the cobwebs.
Any one else knows of dealerships in the bush with relics such as these.

yeah, I saw that - but I only saw the EK/EH/EJs up the front and that was about it. The Holbrook Walky was sold a few years ago, I think...
Was a nice FX in Cooma Holden dealer about 10 years ago and I spotted an old Torana behind a window in some other little town near Goulburn two months ago... classic VH Vacationer plus an HD (IIRC) in Coffs Harbour ... and a few others I'v forgotten. They're out there! :D

EDIT Peak Hill? Woops = wrong town. The cars I saw were in an old servo in some other small town in the same area! (I think...)
Have you seen the wreckers out there?

I have heaps of photos of these relics in paddocks, such as XU1s and HG Monaro’s etc. I was thinking of starting a Web site along the Rust in Pease Oz muscle car line. ‘Any thoughts or interest out there.

That'd be interesting actually.
