hi,
I am wondering if anyone has a copy of the Holden VXSS ute commercial which was released a few years ago and i think banned due to the burnouts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I thought that was the storm ute?

Yeh the thunderstruck one. Pretty sure it was the VXSS ute, the gold one. Maybe im wrong. But yeh been looking for the add for ages on the net and havn't found it. I wrote to holden asking for it for an assignment and received no reply.

Find the post production company who did the effects, they'd have it on their showreel.

Try asking them for the VU SS ute ad, there was no
VX SS ute so you might have confused them. Just
speak to any Holden service/spare parts employee,
you will see they are very easily confused when it
comes to the Holden product.

That ad is requested on here every couple months - and no one ever posts it. (I lost my copy in a HDD crash.)

Yep, thats right. The VU SS ute ad was the tiger mica ute spinning up a massive tornado in the outback & with the great sound of one of Australia's best bands, AC/DC. Thats what started it all off with the big sales!

When they released the VY SS, they didn't show the ute spinning up a tornado as they had banned the viewing of the ute because the drivers had lost control of the ute (WANK WANK WANK). In the end your only saw the guy get outta the ute & pull a part of a wheat grain from under the cover!

Nothing on the VZ SS ute, how boring. Nothing on the Maloo's either, how boring!!!

Wonder what Holden will do the the release of the VE?

Or try your luck at ring the TV stations & they will have it in their archive section.

Old thread, I know I know. :D

Was also looking for the other VX ad when the guy comes home from work in a VX SS and sees kids toys lined up in his driveway, then takes off and zig-zags in and out of them up to the garage. :lol:

Can't seem to find that one anywhere.

Anyone have any links?
