his first few posts were telling us things we already knew, and he was told to search before posting....now none of that is getting stuck into him. He's actually posting rather good, except it was all "welcome to last week" and with a bit of guidance can become a valued member rather than a tool..

Well I for one havent seen the videos. Just because you have doesnt mean everyone else has. I hope you realize there are new members appearing everyday, so not all of us have had the privilege of aleady seeing them.

Just doenst look good when an 11 year old kid is geeting flamed by grown men. He put up a video that you may have seen before, so what, big deal.
Iam sure a few other people havent seen it.

The fact is that he is posting up vids that are in the very "Multimedia Exchange" section that he's reposting them in .... some as little as a week ago. http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=32978
If you guys missed the vids, then maybe you should have a look through this section yourselves
He was politely asked to use the search button and look through the forum before posting any more things such as this, but here we have another one.
The fact that his profile says that he is 11 is irrelevant, we don't change the way the entire forum works just because of a new members age. New members are told to "USE the search button" very regularly.
As a matter of fact, I will go as far as saying that kids under 13 really shouldn't be joining forums such as this, as even with the foul language filter, the topics discussed may be a little "adult-oriented".

Not to mention, your avatar has the potential to scar kids for life

You made a statement saying that he was being picked on. I retorted against the statement with concise comment to the fact that he is being treated no differently to any other new forum member who posts and reposts old information without using the search function - and you respond by saying "Whatever mate" and indicate that I/we are acting childish?
By trying to teach him how to utilise the forum properly? You really are reading too much into this.... :yup:
