G'day, just wanted to know if anyone can tell me where i can purchase seat covers that will FIT my seats. I found that the side supports restricts most of the covers from fitting.

I wasted a few hours today at Supercheap, Autobarn, Kmart all to be told be novice/non automotive sales morons that 'they should alrite but maybe yours are different' really.......

The pictures on the packaging even on the better looking ones stated they fit bucket/sports seats but non of them did.

I really need them for my trip, as im already paronoid of taking the car 1000ks from home, ;) and i can only imagine the sand, sweat now rubbing in on the seats.

Any ideas/palces will be greatly appreciated.

If you just want some for the trip, get some like the snapon ones that just drape over the seats - otherwise custom ones are the way to go.

I have sheepskin ones in my car (but I'm a kiwi so I like that sort of thing) and they've been on 5 years.

They were made in WA but have a look in the yellow pages there should be some there.

Hi I had the same problem. Try getting seat covers for a VZ SS. I use my ute for work and didnt want to change every time I used the car. I managed to get a couple of elcheapo slip on covers, couldnt argue with $25.00. They dont look the best but do the job (Plenty of ricer payouts). Got them from Autobarn, just a thought? Custom are not too expensive $130 for a cloth type.

I also use some slip on ones from Tempe tyres.
Black ones inside out so there is no logo on the front looks ok and when you dont think you will be gruby again take em off.

I was in the same predicament as you, and the only covers that would fit the SS seats were custom-made sheepskin (nah, not a kiwi!!). Althought they cost me a bit, they are worth every cent IMHO. Even have the SS logos inserted!!!

Ahh, my first mod to the SS.... :D

There are sheepskins at Holden dealers for cars that have airbags. Be prepared to pay $260 plus. RRP is nearly $400. I couldn't say I was over joyed with what Holden have but it's the best I have seen.

Hey guys

Where do you all get the snapon seat covers?
Are they available to the general public?

Try http://www.snapon.com/au/ or if you see a snapon van, chase him down.
