how do i get the clips off the fuel filter on both ends never seen anything like that before please thankyou

There's a tool you can but from most automotive outlets (eg Repco etc) that's specific for fuel lines, ask for a fuel line removal tool.

Shouldn't cost more than $20.00.

It fits over the fuel line then you push it toward the coupling and it releases the line.
