Try Methylated Spirits, as I believe it is used for drycleaning (???).

Try in an inconspicuous place on the seats first.

I use it on my GF's Corrolla which has light cream coloured velour which attracts a lot of dark marks, and this works a treat...

I've used kitten interior cleaner on my floormats (bitumen stains, I think) and although I freaked when they changed colour to a funny green (from grey) when they dried they were fine

Food? grease or oils?

Eucalyptus oil is pretty magic stuff, use it sparingly and test a spot first.
I have got marks off headlinings, seats etc in the past with it, just a touch on a cloth and a gentle wipe.

We use this stuff on cars at work and it works great. The only down side is that it takes a little while to dry but worth it.

used SHELLITE for the last 15 years or so to get any oil based mess of anything, clothes/ paint but as mentioned as above check small spot in hidden area :D
shellite evaporates almost straight away and is very flammable.

I have used Auto Glym's interior cleaner with good results on most interior surfaces and particularly on the velour of a pair of WB Statesman buckets that I put in my HQ. It even managed to remove about 95% of some mastik that had been on the top of the squab for quite a while.

Cheers...Dave

I use the Orange Power citrus carpet upholstery cleaner, get it from Safeway.

Spray it on stain, let it set in then rub it till it foams then blot it up with tissue paper or paper towels. Works great on light coloured carpet and velour trim.

i dont mean to hi-jack becuase its OT, but what do you guys use to clean scratches off the scuff trim where the bottom of the doors meet the car? Also i need to clean scratches from where front driver and passenger seatbelt clickers rub against the trip on centre console. It also comes about from car washers using metal vacuum cleaner fittings that leave scratches. These scratches dont come off nd im wandering if you guys know a way?

Whatever you use to clean your leather you need to make sure you condition it after or it will dry and crack.

The best thing I have found for leather seats, vinyl dash, rubber seals, rubber bumper inserts and even the tyres is Renapur Leather balsam. It's made from beeswax. You can order online at renapur.com.au its about $25 bucks a tub but it lasts forever and is well worth it.

Some of the treatments for the leather seats need to be left a while before you can sit on them, some of them need to be buffed and some of them really make the seats slipery.

Renapur also works well on Powder coated areas like Wiper arms and it is especially great on the carbon fibre car bra. It is fantastic stuff and does the job of about 3 or 4 other products. (works well on my timber barbeque trolley. as you can see I am fanatic about this stuff
