I think it's fair to say that it would NEVER get approved for use in Australia.
Also... Our Govts are not remotely open minded about improving our road usage to go with these - you need only look at how interested they are with Smart cars (ZERO). Even motorcycles are treated indifferently. In a perfect world you would get a Government subsidy to buy one but that woud reduce short-term revenue (ie the guys you've voted in wouldn't get the benefit)

yet it weighs 2500 pounds! over a tonne...

1000 ft-lb torque  .... 120mph trap speeds, with 150mph top speed... or 172 if you chose the taller gear ratio

i like the idea of a performance electrically powered motor. when motors start being made electric thats gonna put a lot of people out of business though aint it? and there'll be no more bad ass looking exhausts!!! :errr:

You'll have the same guys but they'll be selling high-performance heat-sinks, cooling fans and low-oxygen unidirectional copper cables:-)

I wonder if that was one of the test cars for the advertisement where an Indian gets his elephant to sit of various parts of his s**tbox so it looks like a sportscar...
