Anyone know what impact on the FTA with the good old U.S.A. (which just came into effect) might have on cars, parts and accessories?

My understanding is the import duty on parts will be removed.
(the current import duty on parts is 15% )

Will make US-made goods and accessories cheaper. Probably have negligible affect on Holden pricing - cost of importing V8s and Tremecs is offset by 4cyl and V6 exports from Fishermans bend, for which Holden gets an export 'credit'.
