I have for sale a complete 3.46 Hydratrak diff centre asembly out of my old GTS M6. It had done approx 70,000kms before it was removed & upgraded to 3.9 Hydratrak centre.
Asking $600

Cheers.

Is the Hydratrak okay? I assume so...?

Yes the centre is fine, i only replaced it because i purchased a new 3.9 centre which worked out about the same price as changing the gears over.

Can you clarify if it is in fact a VT1 diff??
No VT11 came with 3.46, as they were all 3.9 behind the C4B.

My appologies, i can see i added an extra (I) in the tltle of the post.
But i can assure you it's from a 5.7 Holden stroker & M6 combo & came out of my VTI GTS.

if you are going from standard IRS diff setup to hydratrak, will the driveshafts need to be changed due to the different offset of the diff?

The housing will bolt straight into any IRS assembly without any drive shaft mods. I bought two 3.9 Hydratrak centers, one for my GTS & one for a friends VX SS. It bolted straight up into place of the standard housing & the drive shafts bolted straight up too.
I have read elsewhere in this forum that you need deferent drive shafts but this is not the case.
I have a 3.08 LSD center here also, so if you like i can take a pic of them both back to back & you will see they are the same.

I have changed from a normal "shit" holden LSD to a not much better HSV "Shit" hydratrak. There is nothing needed other than the diff to make the change. Hydratrak's have different length axles (the bit in the diff housing) compared to standard LSD axles, but the driveshafts bolt up no problems.
