I am looking at putting together a compilation video of the Summernats 18, I will be taking some footage but it will be on my dodgy digi still cam. if anyone has taken any video and would like to forward it on drop me an email at dave@ozstreetcar.com.

I have put together a little burnout compilation using a bunch of different footage I have downloaded (some fullboost, realper4mance), it can be downloaded here >> Ozstreetcar Burnout Compilation (http://www.ozstreetcar.com/videos/ozstreetcar_burnout_compilation.avi) it is 20mb

Sorry, don't have any Sumernats footage.

That compilation is not bad, the music fits, but i'd prefer without so I can hear the cars in all their glory instead of half drowned out engine/half drowned music clip.

If I want music, I can turn on the radio...it's kind hard to find decent burnout footage.

Hate to say it but every video I do will have a music track, that being said I just noticed that the audio track on that one is a bit strong after compression.

Why so mate?? I think you will find the majority of people who watch such videos would rather hear all the car noises than the music.

YEAH!! Exactly!! To much thrash/crash/crap/music, who cares about the music!

Perhaps on still picture compilations, music is required, but I don't think it is on video clips.

if you make up a dvd and you have the right software you can run two audio tracks one with music and one without

I know it takes talent and effort to produce these vids with the audio but IMHO the music in any of the vids allways sound like crap. Trying to listen to the sweet note of a blown 8 but it's drowned out by heavy metal music and It spoils it.

cheers
