Hi All

jus wondering... has anyone got pics of doing the mcai intake mod on a VY2 R8 Clubsport? I wanted to try n hav a go myself this weeknd.. I did a search but couldnt come up with any pics... i wanted info/pics on the 90mm bung that others seem to have removed from airbox...is this all that is involved in this mod..just removing the bung :confused: ? hmmm,... would really like to get that intake noise that others hav experienced after doing this mod :D

The VY II HSV R8 has a large intake on it already I thought.....I have heard of some people melding the VY II HSV intake and Monaro one together...Is that what you mean?

Hubble did have a picture up there but it has expired, that is why I suggested you drop Hubble80 a PM for the picture.

I know this isnt as effective but I added the VTII SS pipe to my VYII Clubsport airbox. It took 30 seconds to pop the bung and the VTII piece is a perfect fit. Im not sure the proper name for the pipe, but goes from the box to the slots on the radiator cover.

It sounds a bit better, and at least theres some extra air. I couldnt be bothered doing the other mods tho!

Edit: I think i need to update my profile! No more VY SS !
