I'm on the search for a 03 Monaro or maybe VY SS and i've been noticing that some models have the dash mounted cupholders and some don't. Was this an extra on some models?

Also, was the sunroof not a 'factory' option (on the Monaro)? I see Prestige Sunroofs claim some said it couldn't be done?

Finally, is it true that the centre gauges (amps/oil) ala Clubsport R8 (and current VZ Monaro) wont fit the earlier model Monaro? If not, what about the sunglasses compartment as seen in some VZ Calais?

if it has vy interiour in the monaro you can fit the guages but will need to puchase the oil pressure sender also and have that fitted.
as for the cup holders since a monaro is based on a calais it will have them standard only vy interiour though the fist series monaro doesnt have the flip down type

All CV8's have dash cupholders. VY SS with leather option interior have climate control air, and these have them in the dash. Manual air con models don't. The factory Monaro sunroof was a Holden by Design option when the vehicle was been built, but not afterwards. The VY HSV gauges will fit Monaro or SS, but the colour of the gauges may not match (WHITE). VZ colour coded gauges require the replacement of the whole centre stack facia to fit.
