just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to get some Primer overspray off my red leather seats without damaging the leather itself or fading the colour..

i have tried a few leather cleaning products with no success but i wanted some advice before trying harsher chemicals on it....

any help would be great.

Tony.

Hey mate, perhaps we can do a bulk deal on replacement leather, though I wish you better luck than me in getting your crap off!!!!

Me thinks that you may have to re dye the leather anything that is harsh enough to remove the overspary will no doubt strip the clour off the leather.

Depending on how bad it is you may get away with it by applying some Tuxan Renovating Cream in the right colour. You will get it from a boot-maker usually. Whilst it is hard to get exactly the right colour, if you do all the seats it will be ok. It has a very high dye content and is used for re-colouring shoes. I've used it often over the years and works v well. Just try a small inconspicuous spot first and let it dry well before you decide if the colour is right or not. It is just like rubbing a cream over and is easy to use. A word of warning though, you will need to put some sort of seat cover over the seat (e.g. an old towel) for a few weeks as the excess will rub off and your treasure will not thank you if she gets out of the car with the back of her new linen out-fit turning pink... I always used to give it a good finishing coat of Jay Ell leather treatment from Joseph Liddy (JL - get it?). Good luck..
