anyone have one fitted? Was quoted around $600 fitted for the stndard ls1 replacement and $1000 fitted for the heavy duty version. Bloke says the standard ones are the hsv maloo replacement. Is $1000 steep or cheap for a heavy duty clutch? Just sick of the stock weak ass one that is fitted. cheers

I paid $1600 for heavy duty aftermarket clutch and new steel lightened flywheel. $1000 is pretty good price if it's a good unit. Expect to pay heaps more for an exedy clutch, but they are a work of art.

Talk to Mark at Power Torque I picked up a Clutch Kit from him for bk-v8vu's ute.
I think it was around $1200 and Bk-v8vu is very happy with it.
