Guys

Bought the LX8 from Eagers here in Brisbane and due to the fact I hadn't had leather before plus having a baby and a couple of dogs I opted for their leather/interior protection. Anyway, I spoke to the company (MotorOne) and they said I should only be using a damp cloth to go over everything.

I searched the forum and found some good info but not really specific

I think it tends to attract and hold alot of dust and I also think the leather is starting to look dull. You can even see (what I think) where the stuff has worn off on the seat.

Any comments?

You would have received a warranty with it? Call em up and ask about it. I had a full leather treatment done on my old '2003' corolla and I also used Armorall leather wipes which kept it lookin sweet.

Hi GEN111LX8,

Im in the same boat as you, I had the M1 interior/leather protection. 9 months later it looks like it has all worn off. I was looking at getting Zaino Z9 and Z10 leather cleaner and Leather protector. From my research these seem to be excellent products and resore that new leather smell also.
They are available from Eclipse Detailing (http://www.eclipsedetailing.com.au/)
The other bonus is you spend a little time applying it yourself instead of paying a fortune for the dealer to do it for you.

Lots of threads on here about leather care at the moment, tho from the trimmers mouth we shouldnt be conditioning our leather....

Have a search and read...
