well my engine is dead.I was backing my trailer up the drive when the oil light came on.I checked the oil and it needed 1 or 2 litres. This seemed to fix the problem.Next day the oil light came on again and the engine was rattling anf getting louder so I stopped but it was too late.Have I spun a bearing or is it a fuel pump failure? What sort of cost is going to be to fix this?please help

OK, roddles...you have 340kw..I see...I doubt as you own a VX SS that they would give you warranty on that to fix it, so you might be up for some dollars there, like a few thousand.
Oil light on is bad news....stop immediately... I think you'll need a tow truck now to a workshop of some kind...Holden or aftermarket. What is the date of manufacture of your car?

OK, unless you guys have conclusive proof that this guy is trolling, either offer some assistance or don't post.

Well thanx to those who are trusting.Im offended that some think I would lie about this.I ve got better things to do than make up shit!Yes my car has blewn up! yes it has 340 kw!When it comes back from repairs I would gladly prove it to those who dont believe.I wanted help not criticism.I am not some young hoon who is dreaming of fast cars.I am 43 years of age and I have an ss vx series2 that has expired due to an oil problem!

if you have got 340kW you have seemingly had modifications to the car performed. i would organise for the shop that done the work to have a look for you or alternatively take it to one of the forum sponsors. this is presuming you are out of warranty.
