Gee, they don't build them like they used to anymore.
It just doens't seem to last as long like in the old days.

 Is it just me or is does anyone else cringe at the sight of these crumpled ex Monaros? Seeing such a beautiful car in such a state is a hard thing to take.

That's right, and we're thankful they don't...

lots of good spares there. the cut off roof one is very scary, definitely a jaws-of-life job, makes you feel a bit ill

If it were old cars in those photos, the carnage would be much worse.

Not even 5,000km and written off, I wonder who has the record for writing off an LS1 in shortest time.
Wasnt there someone who got a brand new SS and wrote it off 200m away from a Holden dealership? Came back to dealer and said the clutch slipped?

That one that has the pole mark in the front 1/4 panel looks like it might have been worth saving. Doesn't even look like the bonnet bent.

I actually remember that, but I recall it was a telegraph pole on the opposite side of the road from the dealers driveway

exactly. i would take crumple zones any day over those rigid old chassis. Rather the car absorb the impact instead of my internal organs.

Yeah I'm with ya mate.. but whats worse is the people in them.. theres a few there that most likely didnt make it.. Fancy the Miles on that red one.. 2,700 or so.. yeah like Speedy Gonzales said, not even 5000k's and its a ride off... as Darren Hinch would say, "Shame, Shame" lol

Come guys, I am only joking when I say that they don't make like they used to anymore. :hide:
But of course cars are built with in a way that it colapses sort of working as a big shocker to protect ours pinkies.
Please don't take life so seriously. :bounce:

Some people really know how to wreak a good car. Im wondering what caused the fire in the burnt up one.

Just surfing some other threads on that site, you've gotta be unimpressed how little some of those guys are paying for the 04 GTO's.....
