I've been trying to track down a small intermittent rattle from around the front wheel areas (both sides) for a few months.
Anyway, I had to remove one of the front rims and noticed that the rim centre caps were a bit loose. Took off both wheels. removed the spring steel retaining clip (at the back of the cap) and opened it up by about 1.5cm - so that it went back in and exerted a bit more pressure against the cap retaining lugs.
Rattle/ noise is mow gone !!!!!
Interestingly the rears were ok (but I did them as well - just to be sure)

Fantastic!!

Many thanks Peter B.

This bloody noise has bugged me almost since day 1 of owning my Clubby.
After 2 services, a ride round the block to show "THEM" the sound.
No-one can find the noise.
They reckoned it was fiberglass vibrating!! :headbang:

I will take a copy of your post with me next time.

Cheers mate,
Jono.

No worries. Hope this cures your problem as well !!!
Check the centre caps by turning them or lightly knocking on them - you should notice that they turn easily & rattle a bit. You might want to get Holden to put them in using a little adhesive (silastic etc) as well - nothing too strong.
