Anybody know where I can dl bbc top gear clips?

Hey guys,

I'm still using crappy 56k connection but I love watching those british Top Gear episodes which I usually download off the net but ever since flixvault.net changed their host they now only offer full episode length downloads which are usually 300mb in file size.

I just am interested in getting certain parts of each episode which are only around 10-15mb in size.
Does anybody know of any other sites that host and update top gear episode clips?

You have to register but you can see what they have without doing that, and it was no big deal anyway.

Had a look at flixvault.net as I have adsl and am trying to find full episodes that 007viper does not have. I couldn't find any list or menu at all, is there something I am missing on that site or have all the downloads been removed?

I moved over to Aus from the UK in November and before I left there was a whole weekend of Top Gear on pay TV. I got all of Series 2,3 and 4 on VHS and a friend recorded Series 5 which I should get when he is next over here in a month or two.

It may take a little while but am planning to get myself sorted out with a video capture card and get them onto the PC, will be glad to share them with anyone who wants them.

I've got quite a few from gear.viper007bond.com, but his host just pulled the plug because someone complained to them.

Rest easy in the knowledge that it wasn't the BBC. There's an unofficial "official" rep on their forums from the BBC and they don't seem to have any problems with the torrents.

[Edit] - re-read the original, post... i've got most of the last 30 or so episodes, at least 95% of the last two seasons... if you want them on dvd (for pc or dvd player) just pm me...

Speaking of Top Gear, has anyone seen the episode with the Ariel Atom open wheeler with the supercharged Honda Civic Type-R motor in it?? That baby is now my official dream car...... 300+HP in a 500kg body and frame!!! Acceleration that does weird things to your face, and cornering that outpaces a Honda 600 Fireblade. Hell Yeah :D

I've downloaded two episodes and none of them seem to work... I get audio and the first frame of the BBC video, and then I get a media player error... Does the same when trying to play through winamp and real player too :confused:
