I've done a search but haven't found what I was looking for.
I've had at look at joining up at the HSV owners club in Vic. Just read the motorsport rules and sounds like its pretty serious with its guidlines etc. I basically would like to be able to go down to a track and open it up a bit but not be a serious player as there is no way the senator is going to break any records! Is there any alternative or is it an 'all or nothing' scenario.
Also who here is involved and what other things are on offer.

Cheers

Champ - the guidelines that the vic hsv owner club has are fairly sturn, but that is mainly to cover there arse if your a tool on the track/pits/car park/sausage sizzle line

I have done several track days in my VH commy, generally well organised days, big numbers of entrants 80-90, so book early if you decide to do a drive day,

Head to one of their next track day & see how they operate,

Grassey, Pooga, Dane, Large & others have also are members/track goers send them a PM if you have any Q's.

No one swaps paint with each other, your are put in groups of similar speed cars.

Enjoy

You will get better value, more time on the track, plus instruction if you enroll in the Murcott High Performance day at Sandown. You will need to have completed the one day car control course first. Check it out at www.murcott.com.au
