Today i picked the ute up from the Higgins workshop and i am very impressed.

They put in a bigger cam, a set of 3.9:1 diff gears a heavy duty clutch and a GM rip shift.

Maaaate, what a differance. The ute has more torque all through the rev range(oh and more power), the rip shift is just the ducks guts, the new gears feal awsome on the road and the clutch lets me put ALL the power down without frying it.

What can i say? I am bloody well stoked.

By the way i drove away with 303.8 kilowatts at the treads. :D

Impressive power figure. What was your peak torque, and at what rpm?

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I dont want to reveal the size of the cam at this stage but it is a fair bit bigger than my old one which was 232/230 110lsa.

The clutch is an Extreme item.

As for the torque i cant work it out as the graph indicates that i have peak torque of 6400 N at 4900- 6000 rpm.

If anyone can explain the graph i would be appreciative. On the left axis it displays KW, on the bottom it displays rpm, on the right it displays N (what the hell is that?)

So what your saying is that it does not idle like a stocker  Good power, should be a weapon. :burnout:
