Rumor has it,

Apparently Skaife will be making a formal announcement soon (before the first round).
He will be reaping the financial rewards, taking a bigger role with HSV and focusing on Racing only.


Also apparently KRT (Kelly Racing Team) is now sponsored temporarily by HSV.
It appears HRT may be really pissed with this idea!

How many of these teams have ownership drama's? The whole HMS saga, Larry is having some trouble, I believe that there will be an investigation into FPR and Britek. Now Tom may be buying HRT back of Skaife.

This is rediculous we are interested in the racing not in these silly ownership issues, the whole Franchise system of owning teams needs to be overhauled.

HSV have always sponsored KRT as well as HRT as well as driver sponsorships. As a fully funded team HRT would have no interest in the level of sponsorship from HSV for any other team and given that the HRT team owner (MS) works for HSV the rumour is even more ridiculous!!

The car will be "fully" sponserd by HSV I stress FULLY. Not just a little logo stuck on the back of the car. This KRT car will carry full size images of the HSV logo down the sides, bonnet and wing.

Why would it be that HRT are pissed. Because they are the Holden factory team and there main driver is the face of HSV, tell me why the Holden Racing Team wouldnt be pissed with a car taking one of there main and longest running sponsers. Yes I know HRT have HSV on there the car but the size of advertising is minimal.

Aparrently the HRT and KRT teams have found some way that they can be fully sponserd buy HSV though it is not a perminant solution to there long term sponsership. This has allways been pushed buy Walkinshaw to have a V8 Supercar advertise HSV soley and HRT have been the one's stopping it.

But then again I may be wrong and 1000 other people, :booty: but I doubt it!

You are right. The man has never, not had any money. It is not confirmed but he will "personally" purchase HRT. There will be no TWR.

Most loyal red team fans are too blind to see it but I don’t think he was ever out of the picture. Apparently Skaife was to own run HRT for a contract period of 10 years, however the contract is open to interpretation. This whole debacle has always seemed fishy especially on paper.

Are you shore it was actually him personally that had the financial problems or TWR. You know how rich people are they can always pull money out of somewhere. Heck even Donald Trump filed for Bankruptcy and look where he is, his never not had money personally.

In AA1125 the article goes on to say that Kelly conceded that the "proposed" rebranding of the team as HSV racing to help attract a big name sponsor was unlikely to happen.

Look I am giving you guy's info on what is the most likely scenario to happen it's not based on fact, infact I started the thread stating "Rumor has it".
I believe the rumor is true and so do the fold at v8central and the chaps who are close to SBR follow a link in the forum it's there somewhere.
Half the guy's in one forum are transporter drivers. They know a little more then you blokes!
I'm not going to sit here and justify my belief, it's up to you to believe it or find out for yourself.

I supose the pictures of ingalls car are some big conspiriacy aswell huh!

best way to get rumours going...used to enjoy starting the same rumour off on 2 different paths, and when the same person hears the same rumour via 2 different people, they think it fact...although some rumours (actually more what I thought would happen) did come true.....

My understanding was that Tom was bankrupt as a director of his companies. The laws in UK are the same as here so I don't see where he can buy anything. 7 years etc etc. I will run with the driver thing, except the drivers at Dunlop ( and most of them for that matter)knew stuff all so made it up to get some chatter happening. It used to be called pit lane BS..Good to see it hasnt changed in 20 years.

Ford sold the Jaguar team last year - is now Red Bull Racing.
