HRT have launched their new car, Enduro drivers and web site.

Looks good, back to the white wheels which I reckon look better than the chrome shadow ones that they had last year (keep that colour for the road cars), nice simple design, and they've got rid of those awful race suits from last year. Judging by the team shirts, this year's merchandise could look good, cause last year it looked pretty tacky in my opinion.

Notice there is no xBox signage on the car this year - that's a shame, I hope they still have the xBox girls at the races !

Love it! The best effort on the rear of a VY/VZ yet.

Not quite as mean looking as last year's though, but it did take a while to like those dark wheels.

I think Microsoft are sponsoring Mark personally ... not the team ... amen to the XBOX girls at the races :)

Well done to whoever designed this years car!As it says one the website takes it back to 2000-2002,those black wheels were absolutley shockin last year,easy to keep clean though!

So Riviera joins the sponsor list this year! Bet ya Skaifie got a nice 40ft cruiser in that deal :D

I like it, It reminds me of the HRT that used to finish races. I think the black was a bad move, hopefully they can get up around the top of the ladder this year. I cant wait for the season to start thats for sure

Yep. like it very much. Thank God the white wheels are back, didn't like the gray ones much. Hopefully HRT can reign again at the top and once again become the "Evil Empire"!!! :D :bow: :headbang: :evil:

why don't HRT do sumthin out of the ordinary. Everyone is making a big fuss over this car and i think it ooks 5hit. why the same (almost) scheme every time??

Fair comment , except the team has won the best presented team for a number of years, its easy to see the supporters because of the red gear they wear to match the car, when you are at the track they are the easiest cars to pick out in the race because of the color scheme as well - other teams who chop and change end up being very hard to notice and for supporters its hardly a bonus for them! I like the idea of basically the same color and similiar designs year on year.....have a look at Ferrari!

Exactly, but expect the VE to have an "original" layout scheme. It has been fairly similar since VT days.

I love it. Good to see those black wheels gone.

Couldn't agree with you any more.
Colour plays such an important part. That's how most people identify the brand. It's the first thing you see, beside the sexy looking VE SSV form.

HDT will also have a similar theme along with some other liveries.

Ofcourse, it's all about who's in poll position/ the leader in this game.

I think last years car had much more impact. Considering it is proven that red cars are not only faster they also have an uncanny ability to attract the viewers eye on TV its amazing to see that the car is essentially white with a splash of red.

As a side issue, for a company with $hit loads of money I would have thought that someone would have proof read the website if not at least run spell check....

Their car uses an "Optus digital service to Pi Reseasrch software through Radio Telemetry"

AND

an "MoTech endgine management control system."

I reckon what he/she meant to say was that the new 2008 HRT VE Commodore runs a Motec System Exhaust....:yup:
