I'm assuming this is a Bentley. Spotted in Perth earlier this year. It dwarfs the Ford beside it.

 I would be parking over 2 spots aswell with the $$ its probably worth. Either that or it wouldn't fit in the one parking space.

If I'd paid that much for a car I'd want it to be big as well

I was talking to a mate in Sydney who has a tyre place and he was rubbing his hands together in glee....they'd just had a turbo Bentley in for its regular 4000km set of tyres  at almost $4000 a set....:eyes:...

i remember tuna telling me that the tyres on his are made for that exact model bentley. so yeah, they'd be expensive

A cousin of mine bought a mid-70's Roller a few years back for about the same price as a new Commodore. It isn't until you see these thing up close that you realise just how big they are. They'd have to be the biggest road going sedan money can buy.

And talk about pay to play! A bloke once wrote to RR about how uncomfortable the driver's seat was, only to get the response: "Surely sir, you aren't driving it yourself?"

What difference is there between the tyres on a Bentley and the tyres on every other car on the road? Hand carved by a swiss tyre maker?
I know that a Bentley owner isn't going to go cheap and throw a set of Falkens on it, but Pirelli's or something maybe?

prolly a 1.5 ton load rating per corner :)

Kris, I think because of the size/load/speed rating there is only one tyre for it which from memory is an Avon.

An interesting photo would be that Bentley parked next to a Crewman! Both vehicles would be a good test of one's reverse-parking skills (not to mention nerves!). Both vehicles should come with a manufacturers warning - "If you value your sanity - do not park me in a dark, crowded undercover shopping centre car park!"

 You are not wrong! A mate of mine who was an engineer and used to build my race cars was a Jag fanatic. ....But they used to drive him insane... He would shake his head and say..."Bloody Poms...only the Poms! They make a beautiful finned cast alloy machined-face sump held to the block with 27 fine-thread bolts......and they still leak!!!! The Yanks make a pressed tin sump held on by 6 coarse-thread bolts and they are as dry as a Nun's..."

I first say this Phantom around about a month or two ago parked outside my local video store, also seen it parked in the VIP/Owners park at Zafferano restaurant at the old swan brewery....and it is huge. Had a good look over it at the video store at nite, and it looked awesome. Its plates are simply "T". And the car is also driven (rather than being chauffer driven with the person in the back). Which I can sort of understand, but I can't understand the guy in perth with the Maybach 57 who also drives it instead of being by a chauffer, since its has one of the best back seats in any limo.

On tonight's news, they had John Laws showing off his brand spankers roller like the one in the pic above. Complete with his personalised number plates!

It's probably just his 'Tuesday' car!
