That's right, its back up for sale again after much agonising and soul searching, my beloved GenIII VX Calais International is officially now up for sale. Unfortunately changes in my life have meant that it's time to move on and is no longer practical for me to keep it with work and family.
For those that aren't familar with it, it's an International which designates one of 350 built, special edition 17" International six-spoke alloys (with new tyres + full size spare) and in limited edition delft blue metallic paint and shale coloured Howe leather trim (real leather, not leather like the other models) together with Pewter highlights around the cabin. It's a fully optioned calais spec meaning climate control, driver and passenger power seats, two-texture leather-covered steering wheel, Delft Blue instrument cluster with sports style surrounds in satin silver and contrasting white indicator needles and the ****pit facia and console feature a finely textured "Greystone" metallic finish. Also includes 4 airbags, ABS, IRS, cruise control, traction control, tinted power windows and mirrors, and the list goes on and on.
Now as this is my car, it ain't stock  Emphasis when I was building it was a complete sleeper that looked a little different, so from the outside its neat and tidy but lowered over the Bilstein dampers, but it's a dyno proven 260rwkw (~350fwkw) V8 under the bonnet and it's far from timid :D
List of mods is as per below and note that it's a rebuilt GenIII in May '04 with revised pistons and all the jazz which all the mod's have been done to, and has travelled less than 10,000km's...
Mafless LS1 Edit tuned by F1 with K&N pod and polished alloy heat shield

Comp High RPM kit consisting Hi-Tech push rods, Hi-Performance valve springs, Titanium retainers and locks fitted to hand ported and guided heads
RVO stageII auto with shift kit and modified RVO converter
Difilippo stainless 4 into 1 headers (heat wrapped and hand ported) through to a stainless 2.25" true twin-system with X-pipe ($2600+ exhaust system)
B&M Supercooler's fitted with Speedflow fittings - one for the auto and one for power steering
DBA slotted rotors with Race Brakes RB74 pads
Bilstein custom made dampers with Lovells heavy duty custom height springs, strut brace and Quadrant camber kit
Viper flagship paging remote start alarm (works independent of factory alarm)
Rockford Fosgate RFX9300 flagship heatunit
2x large G-spot Serenity Max packs in each door, 1.5 packs in the parcel shelf and 1 on the boot lid sound deadening (ontop of calais stuff, makes very quite cabin)
and there's plenty of other things done to the car that make it a long way from stock that I can explain about to interested parties :)

plenty more pics available, or you can checkout here (http://www.PictureTrail.com/gid2765585) for some more info
Now this car isn't a toy, it's in absolutely flawless condition and is a VERY regretful sale. Redbook value on a stocker is ~$30,000 and I've spent nearly $20,000 in mods to this point. It's a GTS killing sleeper with around 350KW or 260RWKW (stock is around 160RWKW for a rough guide) and the engine, trans, brakes and suspension and tyres are all under 6 months old!
So please no stupid offers obviously, either post here or pm for more info the asking price is $36,500ono
