Its my ultimate goal to be employed by Holden. What's the best way to get my CV out there amongst the design / related Holden departments?

Get onto the Holden or HSV site and I'm quite sure that they have a employment section, just post your resume that way.
eg.
Human Resources Manager...
OR
Find the Holden / HSV head office address and email it that way...

Don't forget on your letterhead to state what job you are applying for.
