Don't know if this has been posted but, in the early hours of thursday morning two holden dealers had their cars vandalised by at least two dickheads wielding bats. The report in the Advertiser claimed more than 40 cars were damaged in the attacks, causing about $40k damage at Metro Holden and about $9k damage At City Holden. The guys were seen on surveilance camera smashing windows and denting panels, and to quote the general manager at Metro's "had a dance party on the roof of a Monaro."
Lets just hope the cops catch these morons before they decide to have a dance party on one of our cars  or there'll be hell to pay :box: .....

I wanted to buy an '04 plated Impulse blue VZ SS A4 ute from City Holden the day before the attacks, but the deal fell thru when they insulted me with a trade-in figure on my Hilux.
I wonder if the ute got damaged. I wonder if they think I did it.

Maybe its not your cars that they are after and i doubt very much that they would be jealous of someone owning a holden.
Maybe its just the holden company they have a problem with.

On channel 10 news, they said that 40-odd cars were damaged, 2 were spared, both AU Ford utes.........that might tell you something, ie these people had a vendetta against Holden.
They showed a VZ Monaro, it was mutilated. The dickheads paid special attention to the bonnet

If the police are serious about catching them, they should go through the list of every Mitsubishi Colt registered in SA and then rule out all the unlikely suspects..... Surely there wouldn't be that many, most of them would have gone through simsmetal by now.
It might not lead them directly to the offenders but it could get them closer....
