Don't need to drive it over a twig, roads there are flat, long straight and FAST. The biggest cause for concern is a camel through your windscreen ;)

Like the front view but the various angles of the doors opening isn't my cup of tea. The boot is weird...how do you use that when the lid fold up like that?

The rear brake lights look very nice. Be a nice addition to an Aussie Statey/Caprice.

That's very interesting. I could be over there in thext few years, might have to invest in one of those things, then try and bring it home.

How about bringing home the technology for the doors.
How cool would it be to pop "up" the doors in the SS :)

Actually if you look on e-bay there's a guy selling the scissor door kits for most makes, including commodore. Not sure how good they are and what the go is engineering wise, but you can get them if you want, just seems to be a hinge swap.

Not too sure actually those back doors would be a PITA to open in the local supermarket. Openeing doors normally in any parking environment is hard enough without hitting or getting hit...dam the car would be at the panel beaters every second week...Insurance claim...yep I hit the door opening it...again....

Picked up a car mag at the newsagent today that had a black Monaro on the cover with scissor doors. Actually looked pretty dam horn. Cant remember the name of the mag but it was a mix of feature cars and porn   . What a top

street machine for the last 6 months at least has been running those ads :p
Imagine the headroom in the back seat with the rear doors closed!
But seriously, this Statie is a 'Chevrolet Caprice SS'. I have actually sat in one in Dubai. On the rear door bump strip is a badge proclaiming 'SS Caprice' similar to our 'ss fifty' ute badge. Very nice badge. Very nice Statie.
