318kW 6.1L Hemi V8 - four piston brembo brakes front and rear - 20" wheels with performance tires - deeply bolstered sport seats and carbon fibre trim - revised suspension and body work.
SRT is to Chrysler products as HSV is to Holdens in Australia. Maybe they will let a few loose in Australia soon too.

Chrysler also unveiled their new Hemi Police cars.

Both have 260kW Hemi engines, much more powerful and infinitely more modern than the ancient, 175kW Ford police cars we have in North America right now.

That SRT looks tough, but the chassis overall is an unbelievably ugly one. Infact, it looks like a Mustang if you ask me.
Actually, no, that chasssis rfugly (really f**king ugly).

Must admit - the SRT doesn't look too shabby whatsoever.
However, does it power the rear or front wheels?
IF the former - nicccceeeee !!!
IF the latter - yech !!!

But like the 300c ... no manual :(
SRT have improved the look a little.
Instrumentation looks similar to the Magnum. Black would be my colour of choice, these colours look a bit funky to me.

Yes, it's RWD with a fully independent suspension. The SRT-8 only comes in black, red or silver.
They will be manufacturing the Chrysler 300 in right-hand drive for Europe, so I don't know why they wouldn't do the same for Australia. The Charger might show up there too, considering Chrysler wants to make Dodge a global brand.

Not much to see.
However, worth looking at the video - shows a cartoon illustrating displacement on demand.

Ozzyjim, you need to get hold of the "Top Gear" episode featuring a comparison with said 300C, Vaxhaul Monaro and Supercharged Jaguar. They all bagged the 300C for it's boat-like character, cheap build and over intrusive safety features that cannot be turned off.
Not saying the SRT is in the same bucket, just the 300C from what I watched.
Cheers,
Steve

I wouldn't take anything on Top Gear as gospel . I've been surprised at alot of what they say about various cars.

I didn't have to. I saw the way it visibly handled for myself and it just turned me off it. Granted, the car looks nice in black, sounds great when booted.
Cheers,
Steve
