Hi guys,
I want to make my engine bay look better ... but beyond just a engine cover, i was wondering if people could make some suggestions to make it look nice.
I am aware of engine enamel paint etc.
Just to help i have a VT Series 2 with a v6 Ecotec engine.

Just a thought, chrome rocker covers, crome braided hose covers with coloured ends of your choice etc.
As you say, some engine paint can look good in the right places and if done well, looks great. (I did this when I had a white BT1 VS V8. Blue rockers, blue fuel injector cover plates and throttle body plate leaving the manifold plannum alloy and I thought it looked A1) I also painted with the same blue, the front air intake inserts in the grill. I painted just the outer edges leaving the inside of them black and it looked unreal. Was a bit fiddly but really was worth it. It looked similar to how the SS's had it in red, however I customised mine blue to match the car and engine bay looks.
Got a pic of it but I don't know how to post them on here :(
Even though mine was a V8, If you are interested in a pic, I can probably arrange to email it if you pm me an email address.
I recommend checking a few websites and mags out to see what some others have done and see what combos and ideas you can come up with that way also.
Good luck with it.

I allways think that an engine bay that is clean is sooooo good looking. Just take some time to clean it all, so clean you could eat off it. Best of all it looks good and costs bugga all.
