Here's my new beast. Had to get rid of the ute as we have a new addition to the family. At least I got to keep a V8! Picked this up second hand, still in its first year of rego with only 8,500 on the clock (it's cheaper than the SS ute to pay off as well). Came with the Calais rims which I don't think look too bad. Gotta love the woodgrain in the centre console! :p
Cheers,
Dan

I wreckon the VY SS wagon is the sexiest wagon ever made. It has the sexy SS front minus the ugly back, my choice of car if I had to lug a family around. They look like 17s tho drew? Correct me if im wrong. I'd go 18's and dump it :)

Yeah, factory wheels are 17's. I've been tempted to fit VX GTS wheels or something similar, but lack of funds and spending all my money on go fast stuff stops that happening :)

Yeah i love the SS wagon's. Would have brought the Mrs one, but got this berlina at a good price & it had the sunroof & she like's climate control  it had 17inch HBD wheels but i did'nt like them So put on the 18inch VYSS rims which I think suit it much better :D

The series 2 SS wagon tail lights aren't tinted. The do have a black ring around each of the globes instead of the silver, carrying on the theme from the head lights.

07-03-2006, 04:54 PM

About time to get the thread moving along again.
This is my 2004 VY2 SS wagon. Had it for about 20 months now, but took me a year to find it. Came with the leather, Climate and 6 speed and have since fitted 18 x 8.5 Speedy Spyder rims, twin 2.5 Difillipos, 2 hole mod and next will be sorting suspension with super low rears, koni adjustables and adjustable Radius Rod kit...thinking swaybars too.
Waiting to get Extractors, Cats, OTR and Mafless tune, but may get a cam in there first to save $$. Diff gears, Throttle body, Ripshift...it's all on that bloody long list :bawl:
Below is my old VT Berlina 6 pot....missus loved it but was a damn slug....and an auto! Did look pretty good though.

These were available in any colour you wanted as long as it was turbine grey and pretty spesh for a wagon I reckon.

Leather, climate, international rims, pack, trim etc, FE2, roof bars blah blah blah ... loving it immensely. Some minor mods are planned which are currently under negotiation :D but this one won't win any dyno or drag comps which is just fine by me.

I've gotten some more stuff for my bumper upgrade. I got the light shrouds for like 27 bucks shipped and I gotta get the headlights next. I found a set for $450. I should get away with doing this whole job for less than 900 painted if I can find a good painter. I'm also thinking about getting my bonnet done at the same time. Freshen it up and get rid of all the stone chips.

I got some new LED tail lights too that arrived today. If i fit them I'll post up a pic.

No, because a "Post your pics" thread such as these is not a technical discussion.
In fact, your are posting all your upgrade info so far in the wrong thread. This thread is for posting pics of wagons only. You should create a new thread of your own in the Your Ride section for details of the update you are doing

Handling to do what? They handle pretty well for what they are, not as well as the sedan of course, but unless you're doing something out of the ordinary I doubt you'll notice it in the day to day average driving.

Hi mate. that is such a great shot, I had to have a fiddle. This version for you now presents in a Bushfire glow tinge to the skyline and reflection on the side of your very shiny wagon. Nice.

Nah Dave my Berlina International Wagon was much faster than that in its younger days.

It has 255,000 kms on it now and climbing fast but will be gone soon for one of those wiz bang new VE ones.

I spent a lot with the upgrades as well.

Only kidding mate yours looks the goods.

This time around I am going to keep the VE fairly basic if I can control the urge. ( Lower,tune,20's and brakes, maybe exhaust ,extractors and Orssom )

Need any spare parts for yours ?

How many kms on yours ?

Mine is not worth a great deal on the trade due to the kms but I think I got a great deal on the VE. ( I hope ).

All the best

Mike

Just noticed you were Tiger SS at one time.

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum but have been enjoying looking at everyone's wagons and reading about them. I've had my SS-V Wagon since last August, one of the earlier ones running around.

It's got 20's on it at the moment and heading up to the Russo workshop shortly for some beefing up with exhaust, OTRCAI and tune so will post some photos of it after all of that.

Keep posting those photos, love seeing the wagons.

Cheers,
Andrew.

I don't mind those wheels actually. Not over the top like some are..

Here's 1 of mine recently.

The 20" wheels look so cool on the wagons. Although the price of rubber is an issue....

CSP
26-02-2009, 02:43 PM
Why is it an issue? They're cheaper than the 19 inch rears on the Clubby!!!

Here's some updated pics of mine...
