I saw this car this morning with GTO-style vents next to the wheels, GTO-style wheels, Cyclone Grey and Monaro bonnet scoops. 'Hello' I thought, 'HSV built a 4-door GTO mule'. Wasn't really awake so I missed the stripes down the side.
Only when it moved off did I realise it was a BA GT or GT-P. Bastiges! Monaro bonnet grafted onto The Enemy!

There are guys with Commodores/Monaros that have the BA bonnet bulge grafted in, so I guess it's only fair.
Can't picture it myself, but each to their own!

plus the monaro nostrils closely resemble the xa/xb/xc gt nostrils so its kind of a retro thing . .
would be interesting . . id prefer the xr8 bulge personally

can't be any worse than the ricey looking VX i saw 2day: HSVGTO coupe front, VZ monaro bonnet, GTS side skirts monaro lights and a poor attempt at the HSVGTO coupe rear bar on the sedan (same sort of sillouhette, sort of). I didn't even get a good look at the spoiler i was so shocked when i saw it. Talk about shock factor

And what's with all the folk around Canberra putting clear tailight covers on Holdens - save it for the POS ricemobiles!

The whole thing is kinda interesting....
The new Monaro bonnet looks like the XA XB bonnet from years ago and the BA bulge looks a little similar to the old Torana bulge.

Adds a whole new meaning to cross-dressing.

It's funny how the definition of rice has gone from being simply an Asian 'rice burner' with a small motor to a badly customised peice of shit with zero to little performance. I mean even people with Skylines and the like (and cause they have a turbo think they can get away with simarly crap mods) are calling the body kitted lancer brigade etc rice... going a bit silly in my opinion. Also, the people fitting stock Commodores with fake kits etc. all done in bad taste, is bad. They are almost the most common, worst offenders of the new 'rice'! Rice is, as a modern definition, bad taste on wheels... I think we need a new word for it?

I totally agree. The desription 'rice' should be reserved for jap cars. For the non jap brigade who spend $$$$$ on non performance mods like wings/body kits that could rival 747's and neons which could light up vegas, I have a suggestion for a name/description. W.A.N.K. (Wings And Neon Kits.)

Now we just need some WANK Racing stickers. I know where we can get the backing glue...
